Paul and Nancy have built a life centered on faith, family, and service, deeply rooted in the St. Mary’s community. Paul’s mother, Josephine LaRosa Cuneo, was married at St. Mary’s Church and remained an active parishioner throughout her life, a legacy the family continues to honor to this day
Paul, a Plandome native and proud alumnus of both St. Mary’s Elementary and St. Mary’s High School, earned his BA from Iona College before beginning his career in financial services in 1985 with Chase Manhattan. In 1987, he joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management as a financial advisor, where he spent 36 years before moving to UBS in 2023, where he is currently a Managing Director. In 2024, Paul earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst degree at the Wharton School. His expertise has earned him recognition, including being named to Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 and Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams in 2025. Paul also serves on the Foundation Board of St. Francis Hospital and is an avid sailor with New York Yacht Club.
Nancy is originally from Old Saybrook, CT, and was a parishioner of St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, where she and Paul were married 28 years ago. Nancy graduated from Old Saybrook Senior High School and went on to earn an AS in psychology from Endicott College and a BS in industrial psychology from Bridgewater State College. She has dedicated herself to community service and philanthropy. She has played a vital role in fundraising efforts for St. Mary’s Schools, the Southold Yacht Club, and charitable organizations supporting ALS, Alzheimer’s, and St. Francis Hospital. She currently serves on St. Mary’s Facilities Committee and the Board of Southold Yacht Club.
Paul and Nancy are especially grateful for their connection to St. Mary’s High School, where their son Grayson ‘21 graduated, and their son Grant ‘26 is currently a student. Their daughter Katharine, also a graduate of Catholic education, is pursuing her Juris Doctor at American University’s Washington College of Law. Their family’s experience within the St. Mary’s community has strengthened their faith, reinforced their commitment to service, and deepened their appreciation for Catholic education.
